Craig Hawkins is the Business Development Manager, Network Access Control (NAC) of leading specialist computer security and control software developer Sophos Plc. He was appointed to the role in Feb 2007

Hawkins co-ordinates Sophos’s NAC sales, marketing, partner, and product management activities and is charged with development of the NAC Asia Pacific regional market.

Previously, Hawkins spent 36 months in Business Development, Sales Management and General Management roles for global IT security vendors RSA Security and Cybertrust.

Prior to joining Sophos, Hawkins spent six years with small business Outsourcer and Managed Service provider BDO SynergyIT an organisation he founded in 1995, and grew to a market leading Application Service Provider to companies with 50 -500 desktop computers.

Earlier, Mr Hawkins spent 10 years in Business Development and Sales roles with leading Australian IT reseller, system integration and ERP sales organisations Parity Computer, Powerlink and SSA Global.

As an “aviation enthusiast” Craig has evolved his outside passion from his first job in the Air force of his homeland New Zealand, to a private airplane pilot license at age 14, and a commercial helicopter pilot license he attempts to fund and support today. Craig is always seeking “cashed” up individuals wishing to adopt a rock star lifestyle for a day, with their own helicopter and pilot.
