Jon Murray
Program Manager, EMC South Asia

As program manager for Business Continuity, Jon Murray is responsible for counseling EMC customers in South Asia on the business, financial and operational impact of ensuring the information they need to run their business is always available, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. To meet this challenge, businesses must strive to eliminate risk from their IT infrastructure to protect against downtime and simplify IT management.

Murray works closely with customers across the region to show how EMC enables customers to get the maximum value from their information at the lowest TCO at every point of the information lifecycle, from creation to archival and disposal. Key recent assignments for Murray include major financial institutions, telecommunication service providers and leading manufacturing companies in South Asia.

Murray joined EMC in London in 1993 as a sales manager, focusing on the retail and manufacturing sectors. In 1997 he moved to Hong Kong to help develop EMC’s Asia business and 1988 he took up the role of Channels Sales Manager for India to develop new markets. Today he works with both direct and partner sales teams across South Asia, to position the value and business impact of EMC’s information storage solutions. Murray is also responsible for providing market feedback to EMC corporate on customer needs in Asia, for future product direction and market focus.
