Richard Duggan
Director, Managed Services, CISCO System Asia Pacific

Richard Duggan was appointed to create and lead Cisco's managed services business in the Asia Pacific region in early 2005. Richard is responsible for business development, sales, marketing and channel developments supporting the growth of managed services in the region.

Richards's prior role was to manage and deliver business consulting services to major telecom operators in the Asia Pacific region. The primary focus of Richard's team was to help Service Providers create new services for Enterprise and SMB companies. Richard moved from Australia to Singapore in 2002 to take this role.

Previously Richard managed Cisco Professional Services Asia Pacific after starting with Cisco in Europe where Richard delivered a number of major projects to both established and startup telecom operators.

Prior to joining Cisco in 1998 Richard held a number of roles in Operations, Engineering, Sales & Marketing in a variety of telecom service providers including Cable & Wireless, Infonet and Reuters.

Richard studied Microelectronics & Computer Studies at Oxford Brookes University and Applied Business Computing at the University of Surrey, England.
