P.K. Gupta is responsible for EMC Software product marketing and evangelizing ESG software solutions, working with end users, sales/marketing teams and partners across the Asia Pacific region to understand their challenges and the technology and marketing trends to help corporate to develop future product strategy. Prior to this role, he was systems engineering director for Legato for two years, and before that, he was managing Legato’s R & D lab in India.

P.K. has over 21 years of experience in IT Industry.  He has worked in River Run Software Group for more than 7 years where he was responsible for management of various projects related to LAN Management, Network Management, Storage Management and Mobile Computing. He had also managed various on-site projects for IBM and Motorola in the United States for 5 years in the area of LAN and Network Management and their applications, and systems management.

P.K. holds a degree in Computer Science from MNREC, PGDM from AIMA and is currently doing Doctorate in Business Administration from AMU in India.  He has been visiting professor in India from last 10 years in various MBA institutions such as Amity Business School, AIMA, IMT and JIMS. He is also a frequent contributor of technical and management articles in various magazines; and has been international speaker on storage management. He is avid reader of technical and management books.
