Teddy Sukardi

With software engineering education background, Teddy started his career in IT in 1980 as a systems analyst and worked on assisgnments to develop and implement a wide range of business applications such as accounting, retail, hospitaliy and banking. For more than 20 years Teddy has had the opportunity to hold many positions, both professional and managerial, at widely known IT companies such as Metrodata, NCR, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya.

Teddy is continously participating actively in IT education, promotion and development activities as lecturer and speaker covering various areas such as eCommerce, eBusiness, eGovernment, CRM, IT Security, Cyberlaw, and Cyberforensics.

Besides his present assignment as Business Development Director of Phintraco Group, a group of Indonesian IT solution and services companies, Teddy also is chairman of FTII, the Indonesian Information Technology Federation. The federation members include various Indonesian IT industry associations among others ASPILUKI (software), APKOMINDO (hardware), APJII (internet), and APTIKOM (higher education). Teddy also chairs the technical working group for national standards for IT.

Teddy presently lives with his family in the botanical town of Bogor, where he was born on November 1958.
