Product & Solutions Marketing Manager Asia Pacific & Japan , Business Objects

Ian Parker heads up the product and solutions marketing capability for Business Objects across Asia Pacific.  

Parker will be responsible for working with the company’s marketing teams across the region. He will define, develop and deliver initiatives to increase awareness and evangelise Business Objects solutions and the end to end product suite. Specializing in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Enterprise Information Management and associated technologies he will support our need to educate customers, partners and the market on how Business Objects delivers business value through its products and solutions .

Parker first joined Business Objects in 1998 and has worked in positions of increasing responsibility with the company, from a principal consultant to professional services manager and strategic business group manager.

With over 15 years experience Parker is an IT veteran who has a strong background in the planning and design of data warehouse and business intelligence projects. He has a strong understanding of our solutions and a unique balance of sales acumen and services delivery experience.

Ian is a keen sportsman and regularly plays golf and windsurfs in the bayside areas around his home in Melbourne, Australia.
