As Senior Analyst of IDC’s Asia/Pacific Consulting Group, Sudev Bangah is responsible for consulting research projects in the ASEAN region.

Based in the Kuala Lumpur office, Sudev project manages each consulting project within his scope, provides clients with insights and the framework for cross-product consulting projects as well as market intelligence in a range of Go-To-Market services such as market entry analysis, market segmentation and buyer behavior. With these tailored analyses, clients gain invaluable and intelligent insights to help attain their business objectives.

Sudev recently completed several IDC Consulting projects in the area of Business Processes Outsourcing (BPO), specific technologies, Information Security (IS) and telecommunications.

Prior to joining IDC, Sudev was a Senior Executive at Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (MDeC), the organization entrusted to spearhead the ICT industry in Malaysia.

During his tenure in MDeC, he was responsible for managing the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC) IT Service Management Program (ISO 20000) rollout to further increase the adoption of the standard across Malaysia. Sudev also worked on various strategy implementations to increase performance capabilities amongst Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises. In addition, he led department wide communication initiatives by placing processes and frameworks surrounding inter-department communication protocols and policies while at MDec.

Sudev is ITIL® certified and a committee member of the IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) for the Malaysia Chapter. He has been invited to speak and present findings at several industry events on ITSM implementation in Malaysia.

Sudev holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Curtin University of Technology, Australia and has successfully completed the ISO 9001 Lead Auditor course.

Anthony Ung is Product Marketing Manager for APAC Enterprise, at Trend Micro. Trend Micro Incorporated (Tokyo Stock Exchange: 4704), is a global leader in network antivirus and Internet content security software and services.

Joining Trend Micro in mid-2007, he is responsible for product marketing for the Asia Pacific region, focusing on Trend Micro’s Enterprise solutions. He works closely with the Sales and Marketing teams across the APAC region to develop programs that helps customers understand their security requirements, develop long-term strategies and implement solutions to achieve their business goals.

Hemant is part of the Systems & Technology Group, Sales Program team, leading the Infrastructure Business in the ASEAN region. His primary focus is on the Smart Planet Initiative, and on Dynamic Infrastructure that forms a key pillar of Smart Planet. Hemant is also the Green IT Advocate for the region. One trend that Hemant is following passionately, is Cloud Computing, and he is focused on keeping this domain “real”. He has a special passion for Energy Efficiency Solutions, GRID, and Virtualisation, as key technologies supporting the evolving trends in Dynamic Infrastructure.

Hemant has had an extended and varied career in IT environments across more than 31 years; first as a customer for 22 years: with IT groups in automobile, and consumer electronics industries, before turning vendor 9 years ago. He has deep understanding of technology – which he deployed during his “customer” phase - and an equally broad grasp of the interactions between hardware, software, applications and ofcourse business. He is passionate in his pursuit of bringing the “solutions” relief to IBM’s customers in fulfillment of IBM’s Infrastructure Optimisation strategy powered by STG’s Client focus transformation.

Dr. Wei Jyh Heng has over a decade of research and development experience, and worked in various high-tech companies and global organizations that range from fast paced start-ups, well organized government research institution to structured international companies, across Singapore, Australia, United States and Malaysia. He began his career as a Research Engineer in a Singapore telecommunication start-up company creating the wireless PDA phone. Thereafter, he became a Research Scientist in the Institute for Infocomm Research, a government research institute in Singapore, focusing on signal processing for E-learning content. He worked in Canon Information System Research Australia, creating intellectual properties in video and image compression techniques. Later, he joined a US telecommunication equipment manufacturer and worked as a Principal Research Engineer in California. He is currently holding the position of Vice President of Content Development in International Association for Software Architect (IASA)  of Malaysia Chapter. Dr. Heng has published various papers in renounced IEEE conferences and journals, and a book. He has also applied for several international patents. Recently, he has presented at IT Architecture Regional Conferences (ITARC) across the South East Asian region. He holds a Ph.D degree, Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Western Australia in Perth.
